  • Microcytosis and macrocytosis
  • Lymphadenopathy
  • Hepatomegaly & Splenomegaly
  • Abnormal protein bands on serum and urine electrophoresis
  • Thrombosis
  • Bleeding disorders
  • Pregnancy related haematological issues

Specific haematologic malignancies treated:

  • Myeloma 
  • Lymphoma: Non Hodgkin Lymphoma (NHL) and Hodgkin Lymphoma
  • Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia (CLL)
  • Myeloproliferative disorders: Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia (CML), Polycythaemia Vera (PV),  Essential Thrombocythaemia (ET), Primary Myelofibrosis (PMF)
  • Myelodysplasia (MDS)

Acute leukaemia and certain aggressive forms of lymphoma may require transfer to the public system due to specific health requirements.  Additionally, if at any point a clinical trial becomes the best treatment option,  every effort will be made to enable referral across the haematology trials network to allow access to state of the art treatments.  These options will be discussed at your consultations as required.

  • Fine needle and core lymph node biopsy
  • Surgical excisional lymph node biopsy
  • Diagnostic lumbar puncture
